In the event of teams tying on the same number of points in the pool matches, the team with the higher team batting average (i.e. total runs scored by the team divided by the total wickets lost) in all their pool games will prevail. Where a team is ‘all out’ 10 wickets are lost irrespective of the number of player who have batted.

In the event of two teams having the same number of points and batting average, the winner of the game played between the two teams shall prevail. is recommended that where possible, if teams have already played each other during the season the venue be reversed. However, for the purpose of the batting or bowling first the home team is that one listed in the fixtures.
